A Relief Weekly Update

Good evening, everyone!

This week, your A Relief Town Hall Officers have been out and about at the Christmas Markets, engaging with the community and reminding everyone to stay safe while enjoying the fantastic food and drink!

A big focus has been on reducing theft from person, so you’ll notice some helpful posters around the city.

In addition, we have been proactive within the City and we’ve made five arrests, all resulting in charges to Court:

✅ One male arrested and charged for vehicle offences – a prolific theft-from-motor-vehicle offender – now remanded in prison.
✅ Two repeat shoplifters who stole over £1,000 worth of goods have been returned to HMP.
✅ One male arrested for failing to appear at Court.
✅ One male arrested for drug offences.

We’ll continue to target priority offenders and work hard to keep our city safe.
